Montoya, New Hampshire (CNN) Annies Fruit Snacks is shutting down.
The New Hampshire-based company, which specializes in snacks for children, announced Monday that it will close its Montoya store in November.
The decision comes after Annies’ parent company, the Hershey Company, announced that it would end its operations in the state in 2019.
Annies began as a small company in 2003 and in 2010 became a subsidiary of the Hersheys’ Hershey Co. It has sold nearly 10 million fruit snacks since then, and in 2017, Annies was one of four companies to receive a $4.5 billion tax rebate for the state.
Hershey announced that the company would no longer sell its fruit snacks in Maine and in Connecticut, citing financial difficulties in the region.
In 2016, Annys was named one of the Top 100 Companies to Work For by Fortune magazine.
