The National Geographic Society has chosen to launch the cold snacks delivery service, a collaboration between NCDS and campers and families in the Great Plains and South.
The National Geographic Food and Camping Council has been in discussions with NCDS to create a partnership for cold and camping supplies to be delivered to campers across the country.
The company was established in 2006 by the same group that helped found Campfire Capital, a company that offers camping equipment, camping accessories and food.
The partnership comes after a number of other campground suppliers have been targeted by federal authorities and their vendors.
For example, the U.S. Department of Agriculture recently said it was suspending the importation of some hot and cold food products to states that allow it.
